Practical Training ( Regulation )
Students are encouraged to join the production line to train them into skilled personnel with experience in the industry. By applying professional practice and teachings from class, we are able to increase learning productivity and mutual interaction between the industry and our institute. The students can meet the demand and requirement from the industry by performing this practice.
- Plan
- One year school year: Starting from junior year second semester to senior year first semester end.
- One semester: Starting from junior year second semester to summer vacation end, beginning of summer vacation to senior year first semester end.
- During summer vacation: Summer vacation from junior to senior year.
- Duration is one year, six credits each in the first and second semesters (twelve credits in total)

- Combining life and work to enrich work experience. Increase working opportunity and capability.
- Practice and on hand training.
- Learn to gather information, turn it into knowledge, and apply it to solve problems.
- Learn to be independent, deal with hardships, and be responsible.
- Develop social relationship, create good working environment, and be responsible to the society.
- Increase student's and teacher's perspective, learn new technology and increase learning experience.
- Construct the school's teaching to meet the demand of the industries.
Special Projects (Form)
- The duration for Special Projects is one year, and students will take Special Project (I) and (II).
- Aside from participating in the Special Project Exhibition, students must fulfill either one of the following requirements in order to graduate:
- Applying for the Student Research Project of National Science and Technology Council
- Joining an International Competition related to the Special Project
- Submitting a research paper to an academic research journal. (For example: IEEE)
Getting approved in the research project application, winning the competition or having the paper accepted are not mandatory, so students do not have to worry too much about this.
